About Scholarships

In keeping with our mission statement “Music That Builds Community”, we have been awarding $500 scholarships as a way to support eligible high school seniors in Mason County. The donations from concert concessions will be placed in our scholarship fund.

The scholarship fund honors these individuals who contributed invaluable support and resources to help Anna’s Bay Center for Music bring music to our community – Dr. Martin Tobias, Kathy Beimer, Charles T. Kirkpatrick, and Cyndie Phelps.

Scholarship Eligibility

These $500 scholarships are offered to eligible high school seniors at Shelton High School, Choice High School, and North Mason High School. Each student must be a resident of Mason County who will be attending an accredited college or university, with a major or minor in music or music education. Students must have a grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 or higher and submit their application form with two letters of recommendation, along with an official grade transcript.  Applications are available at the high schools.

Funding Scholarships

Through fundraisers and generous donations, we are able to provide scholarships. We hope to continue our program for many more years and if you would like to join us in this effort, please let us know.
