It ALL starts tomorrow night
Tomorrow night is the first rehearsal of the Spring Season. Come out to St David's Episcopal Church [map] at 6:30 to pick up music, meet the other choristers (or reacquaint yourself with them), listen to the music and hear the vision of the 10th Anniversary celebration. I am looking forward to meeting the new choristers and catching up with returning members. This season should be our best season yet!
The pieces we will be performing this season are:
Faure' Requiem
Spring (from The Seasons) by Haydn
"Dixit Dominus" from Mozart's Vespers
"See the Conquering Hero" and "Hallelujah, Amen" from Handel's Judas Maccabeus
"The Lord is My Shepherd" By Rutter
You can check all of them out on YouTube here. Not Anna's Bay performing these, but we will be using these as supplemental practice recordings for the term.
